Review of Systems
General
: The child has no fever or malaise, and he was well until the cough began.
Skin
: No rash is noted.
HEENT
: He does not have sore throat, runny nose, ear pain, difficulty swallowing, or eye discharge or redness.
Pulmonary
: The child has been coughing and is short of breath.
Cardiovascular
: The child has not had chest pain.
Gastrointestinal
: The child has not had abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea. The parents say he did not want to eat breakfast because of the cough and dyspnea.
