Symptoms and treatment of specific poisons vary (see table). Including all the specific complexities and details is impossible, although cross-references are made to other entries in this table and elsewhere in THE MANUAL where appropriate. Consultation with a poison control center is recommended for any poisonings except the mildest and most routine.
