Cor Pulmonale (Echocardiogram)

Short-axis view demonstrating a markedly enlarged right ventricle (RV) with RV hypertrophy. Abnormal bowing of the interventricular septum into the left ventricle (LV) gives a characteristic D configuration of the LV, consistent with volume and pressure overload of the RV.
