Iron Reduction Therapy in Type 2 PCT
These photos show the dorsal aspect of the right hand of a man with type 2 porphyria cutanea tarda (PCT) at presentation (left) and after iron reduction (right). The type 2 PCT was due to multiple factors, including a novel pathogenic mutation in the UROD gene.
