Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
Rocky Mountain spotted fever initially manifests as a blanching macular rash on the palms, wrists, soles, and ankles, then progresses proximally to the neck, face, buttocks, and trunk. The lesions darken and become maculopapular and then petechial.
